Express Entry is a system used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to select candidates for immigration to Canada using the following economic immigration programs:
- Canadian Experience Class
- Federal Skilled Worker Class
- Federal Skilled Trades Class
- Provincial Nominee Programs
Applicants who meet basic criteria, submit an online profile known as an expression of interest to the Express Entry Pool. The profiles of candidates in the pool are ranked against each other, under a Comprehensive Ranking System.
